Truman Square Groundbreaking Ceremony – Phase I

Pennrose and the Township of Edison celebrated the groundbreaking of Truman Square, Phase I. Located on the former U.S. Army Camp Kilmer base, the two-phase redevelopment will create 172 units of high-quality, affordable housing for families, veterans, and formerly homeless individuals. Camp Kilmer is a key component of Edison’s affordable housing plan. #TripleCHousing

Featured Artists from OUR PERSPECTIVES Showcase 10-10-18

Through Triple C’s Project Aware (Advancing Wellness and Recovery Education) Program, 8 artists submitted 23 pieces of artwork that was matted and framed for display and sale.

The artistic works of more than 30 people with disabilities was unveiled Wednesday, Oct. 10th at the Edison Municipal Complex. This exhibit is significant because it represents a one-of-a-kind collaboration between schools and organizations that serve our disabilities community. The administration in Edison is committed to providing new opportunities for disabled residents, either through employment at Town Hall’s “Snack Shack” or by enabling artistic expression. The exhibit includes creations by artists with developmental disabilities from the New Jersey Institute for Disabilities, Edison Public Schools, Triple C Housing, and the Middlesex County ARC.
