Joetta has a connection to our very own Kim and Walee. Kim’s son, Kris, participated in Joetta’s summer track camp. Kris is currently a freshman in the Honors Program at Rutgers Camden where he was recently selected Captain of the track team. This is a highly coveted honor and typically is awarded to a Senior. Congratulations, Kris.

Walee has been a major fan of Joetta’s since their high school days where he ran track for Orange High School, and she ran for South Orange/Maplewood’s Columbia High School. Walee used to wave and yell acknowledgements at Joetta during track meets unsuccessfully trying to convince teammates that they knew each other. Well fast forward, Walee had the opportunity to officially be introduced to her and have since become cherished friends.
We recognize and acknowledge Joetta Clark Diggs for her global accomplishments on and off the track.
